10 jailed on charges of sadistic sexual offences

Abu Dhabi: In what has been described as one of the
"most disgusting cases" in the UAE, a group of 10
Syrians, including a couple, have been found guilty of
different sexual offences.
They were each given jail terms that varied between
two years and life imprisonment. Court records say all
10 accused were involved in homosexual or adulterous
relationships.

The incident came to light when a video made by the
accused was made public.

The main culprits were a Syrian couple, identified as
K.A, G.A., and their associate A.M. In the video, they
were seen tying up five of the men and forcing them to
have sex with each other.

According to court records, they tied the men up,
burnt them with metal rods and beat them .

A legal source told Gulf News: "This is one of the
most disgusting cases we have come across in our
courts.

"The group of Syrian men and the woman were all
involved in lewd sexual acts together. They forced a
group of men to undress and have sex with each other
while they beat them and taunted them. All this was
taped and we saw this video."

However, the Appeal Court reduced the married couple's
life imprisonment sentence to ten years in jail for
the husband and five for the wife.

It was heard the husband and the wife offered sexual
services to some of the other offenders and were also
involved in group sex as well.
