Le Boy Beirut club hosts Salvation!

By Roy Khoury, GME Editor Beirut, 5.11.2011

Tonight, once again a new opening in Beirut is taking place. On Saturday November 5th and after a total renovation, Milk night club is becoming Le Boy.  Le Boy is promising a new style of clubbing with the international Barcelonan DJ resident: Dj Dimitry K. This world famous DJ was born in Moscow, Russia where he started his career and from there to London, Berlin, Barcelona and now Beirut.  With time, he switched his style from House to more funky house influenced by artists such artists as MAW, Joey Negro, JAZZANOVA, Swayzak...

Tomorrow, on Sunday November 6th, Le Boy is having a special treat: “Salvation” will be performing in Beirut for the first time in the Arab World with the celebrity DJ Oliver M and apparently gorgeous go go dancers.  Salvation is famous for being one of London’s biggest circuit parties. The list of international destinations that play host to Salvation’s is now over 50 different cities around the world. Beirut is going to join Salvation’s top destinations around Europe and beyond, including Ibiza, Paris, Rome, Berlin, and Moscow.  Prices are 30$ including a drink.

We in GME hope that Beirut keeps attracting big LGBT event planners which we believe have the potential to contribute to the local and pan Arab LGBT movement.

Well done also to Vivian Shallop for bringing this events and many others.
